[at-l] Yo Mud Butt!
While hiking through the Smokies -- a day hike. I came across a mother
urging her hesitant daughter to feed the cute bear a sandwich: It must have
been full because it stayed on the other side of the stream. She actually
acted upset when I told her that the bear did not know where the sandwich
started and her daughter began. To the bear it was all food.
Sigh....

Say what? A thru hiker with extra food? Sounds like someone on a short
section hike.
