[at-l] Smartwool socks

I haave several pairs of Expedition weight, some functionally
worn out but excellent for slippers and yard work. I've never
used liners, nor ever felt itchy from them. I question if they
are worth the cost. I've used Patagonia poly thick socks which
seem to wear out slower, same price. For Christmas I received
similar but darker socks from Vermont Country Store that seem
very good at half the price.

I also have daily use Smartwool black dress socks. These are
very durable, comfortable and non-white.
