[at-l] handbook and companion...

Been there, but I am thinking that a simple board with uneditted comments
might be better.

Page 142 of the on-line Companion lists the Williams Inn at "$5 includes
towl, shower, swim and Sauna".

Here is their web site: http://www.williamsinn.com/

When I contacted the ATC through the "submit corrections" link, they sent
back a nice reply saying that they had asked the Companion's editor about
that place already and the pricing had been confirmed, and that they needed
to rely on the volunteers efforts and information. No changes were to be
made. Oh well. I sent a follow up mail to the Companion's editor at an
address I found on the web, but haven't heard back yet.

Perhaps hikers really can stay at the inn for $5.00. Still, I am pretty
sure its a typo. One has to expect a few of them. If there is lodging
available for $5, or even a just a $5 tent site with access to a shower, I
think it would be a major draw.
