Hopeful,
On my thru I started with three pair of hiking sox and a pair of liners.
During my pre-hike I didn't use liners but took them anyway in case I needed
them. I later sent home one pair of sox, when I sent my winter gear home.
I hiked with the two pair of sox until I got to Stratton Maine. I brought two
new pairs and used them the rest of my hike. I never used the sox liners and
gave them away.
Total sox used: 4 pair.
