I am sooooo happy for you. Sorry I didn't respond before now to your
wonderful news. I don't guess I have to tell you to make sure you call me
from Janets when you get there ;)

Very best of luck to you, and . . . . and - well, I'm jealous, really. I
took Cassy out for a hike recently - in our yard, weather permitting ;) We
took the book you sent her and realized that with no leaves, it didn't help
identify much LOL. So she very carefully put HER book in MY pack (yea, so,
my pack is sitting in my bedroom blocking my closet, fully loaded for some
reason, you got a problem with that?! <g>) and said "when the leaves come
back, we are going to take a hike and find a bunch of these trees, and
Grandma will be watching us from heaven, especially if we pick up pinecones".

Broke my heart and made me smile, all in one. Thank you for making a part of
that happen, with your kindness and thoughtfulness in sending her that book.
And despite my jealousy, and downright sadness that I too am not embarking on
that journey . . . I really wish you the best of adventures. If you see Mom
at Springer, tell her hi for me . . .
