[at-l] Hopeful, Hopeful, Hopeful

I haven't chimed in on the Hurray for Hopeful threads. I hope
the layoff is as convenient as at first glance. I'm just so full
of envy, wishing my boss would fire me and let me go for a long
walk.

But, here I am, planning to give up envy for Lent. I'm watching
workmen fill up a sink hole by my pool, rebuild a fence and
retaining wall, jack up settled concrete in my garage, prepare
to replace a driveway, and watch a few jonquils bloom amid a
yard of chickweed.

Maybe I'll see if I can get up to Woody Gap tomorrow with some
hotdogs and buns with a Coleman stove.
