[at-l] Tech on the trail (Don't read if you don't like C*ll P**nes)

Just got a new toy earlier this month and i already see some neat potential.
This is a Kyocera 7135 phone with integral Palm Pilot. This device is
capable of sending and receiving email. surfing the internet and can read
and write Microsoft Office file with the appropriate software. It includes
and image viewing program and can play MP3s. It can do all of this from
almost anywhere you can get a cell phone signal on the East Coast at least.
The screen is 320 by 320 color and very crisp.

It looks and can even be made to sound like a Star Trek communicator (cool).
The lithium battery is good for 55 hours of standby with the phone on or
even longer with the phone powered down. It comes with a base unit that
recharges it and allows it to connect to a computer for updates via an USB
port. If the computer is a laptop, it can even be made to function as the
wireless modem for the laptiop.

There is supposedly even a GPS add-on unit coming out for it. But even the
ability to store Palm converted maps is pretty useful. There is sufficient
storage capacity to store all of the AT maps and the Data Book on a single
removable SD flash card.
