[at-l] looking for a AT trail partner

Welcome to the campfire. If you show up on March 15 at Springer Mountain,
you will probably find a group of 15 people looking for someone to walk
with them. Some of them will be in much better shape than you. Some will be
in far worse shape. Some will be sitting in their office wishing they had
been smart/lucky enough to take a transition hike between residency and
practice.

If you give it a try (please find an outfitter who knows about lightweight
gear), you will be in good shape before you hit Fontana Dam. You will be
sorely tested whether this is a crazy idea (it is) or the most brilliant
idea you have even expressed (it is).
