Today is the 30th anniversary of my quitting smoking cigarettes. By my calculation, if I line up the cigarettes I did not smoke since quitting, the line will measure 8.6 miles. That's approximately .39 percent the length of the Appalachian Trail. My lungs are happy. I'm happy. Happy (Appalachian) Trails.
