[at-l] fire on Mt Washington

Looks like 70 years of uninterrupted weather monitoring from the top of
Mt Washington might be broken this week, as a fire in the power
generator building has rendered that part of the facility a total loss.
on Sunday afternoon.   With temps plummeting this week, and winds
supposed to go up above 100 mph up there - power is kinda important.
They do have a backup system, but it is unclear whether or not that will
be sufficient for real support for the staff.  The staff was evacuated
on Sunday (no one hurt) and some went back up today to check out the
situation (and take some readings - so the streak isn't broken yet).
