Methylalcohol is readily available at Wal Mart (in the auto parts
area) and auto parts stores under the brand name Heet -- a gas line
antifreeze.  It's sold in a 12 oz yellow plastic bottle -- about 70 cents.

I'd imagine there are lots of Wal Marts (and Kmarts) and auto parts
stores along the trail.
