Assumign you are not staying in shelters you should at least critter-bag at=
 your campsite. A critter-bag is the same idea as a bear-bag just not as hi=
gh. Idealy, you should bear-bag just in case everywhere. Always bear-bag in=
 places where bears are known to be.

If you're staying in a shelter the little ropes with the mouse-preventer ca=
ns will be enough, but if you decide that you want tent/tarp/hammock/bivy a=
way from the shelter you should either use the shelter food hangs are hang =
your own food.

Hanging food is a pain, but it is worth the effort to protect your food and=
, in the long run, the animals.
