[at-l] ;-) How I felt around Shelton's grave or AT "spooks"

Know that grave where two "Yankee" soldiers and their cousin was buried
right along the AT? Well this joke tells how I sort of felt when a Boy
Scout called out to me.

>>>
A taxi passenger tapped the driver on the shoulder to ask him a question.
The driver screamed, lost control of the car, nearly hit a bus, went up on
the footpath, and stopped centimetres from a shop window. For a second
everything went quiet in the cab, then the driver said "Look mate, don't
ever do that again. You scared the daylights out of me!"

The passenger apologised and said he didn't realise that a little tap could
scare him so much.

The driver replied "Sorry, it's not really your fault. Today is my first day
as a cab driver - I've been driving 'hearses' for the last 25 years!!!!!"

And it was the reason none of stayed in that spot. Even though it was about
to come up a gully washer.

Speaking of which, has anyone who felt "spooked" at a particular spot or
along a particular section? If so, where & why? And is there a local tale
or legend to go with the spot or section? I would like to collect a few for
storytelling.
