Flagyl depends on what you are treating and whether or not the
victim is pregnant - definitely a no-no in first trimester. If
for presumptive giardia, 250 mg three times a day for 5-7 days.

I'm working off of memory of the New England Journal of Medicine
article, but I believe Doxycycline was 100 mg for a single dose
when tick is found. If Lyme symptoms are suspected, more
routinely 10 mg twice a day for 2-3 weeks - possibly longer.

However, I strongly suggest you discuss this with your real
world doctor before making any decisions based on such
unreliable information.
