It seem that I got some snail mail, maybe with a new USGS ID, sometime in
the last 6 months or so. It may be still alive but it is operating on a
shoestring if it is. Its not the kind of operation that is high contact with
the volunteers they send you a set of topos, you annotate them and send one
back, they send you a fresh map to mark up and every few years you do it
again.
