5. Bring pictures or slides of the Trail(s)
6. DON'T discuss Bill Bryson with Baltimore Jack
7. Don't believe everything Felix tells you
8. Not having to impress anyone
9. Don't tell anyone about the cheap heavyweight gear you have
10. Bring lots of film for my camera
11. And last but not least.....drink as much coffee as you can to stay awake so you don't miss a minute of anything.

Did I mention what a wonderful experience this was?
