[at-l] Ruck relocation, was cabin fever!

I've actually BEEN to Camp Thornwell.
 I'm here to tell you, it is the Ruck facility from heaven. Private
cabins, group cabins, huge central room with plenty of tables for
project classes, and of course, eating. Huge sideboard for smorgasbord
spreads. Voluminous kitchen, Huge fireplace with couches and chairs,
all in one long open room.

Outside is plenty of space for MULTIPLE gear displays, tent camping or
frisbee sports. There is also a clear, swift-running little mountain
stream smack dab in the middle, for water filtering/treatment
displays. The Foothills Trail is nearby for those who want to get
started on their section hike of it (or just stretch their legs), and
there is also a trail of about 50 minutes circling camp.

Best of all, Camp Thornwell is tucked sweetly into the end of a nifty
little valley. Fifty acres, all to ourselves. It's a honey of a wild,
mountain setting.

The famous Horsepasture River waterfalls are only a few miles away
too.
