[at-l] mail drop questions

Rainbow Springs has new owners. We don't know anything about their
situation or if the phone number has changed.

Franklin has several places that have been hiker friendly, particularly the
Franklin Motel. There is a Days Inn behind a Shoney's that has been popular
lately, but I've a warm spot in my heart for Franklin Motel.

Fontana's post office is very popular. Their grocery store never seems to
be adequately stocked. The laundromat is good, and a popular place to wait
for the PO to open. The HikeInn is nearby, with good reputation for
resupply, shopping trips and the like. I am sorry not to have those numbers
handy.
