[at-l] ridgerunners

I was a part of this list last year before my thru
hike.  It played a big part in my planning and
preparation.  I have been back on the list for a while
but have just been a spectator.  What I seek now is
some advice on becoming a ridge runner or caretaker.
I know I can find the application and job
responsibilities on the ATC site, but I want to chat
with someone who has had some experience.  Any advice
is appreciated
