[at-l] OT - Always learning to spell

Having gotten on a kick lately to try new marinades I have learned something interesting.

"Marinade" is a noun, but you use it to "marinate" (a verb) when you soak meat with it. Just a difference of a "d" and a "t" in the spelling, and it sounds almost the same.

Whenever I get too cocky about my skills at anything my wife will just say, "OK, spell..." and I am immediately humbled.
