[at-l] Fun Cards, business cards for fun

Good idea.

We have used "hiker cards" for our last several hikes. As a thru-hiker we
don't want to spend lots of time chattting about our pack weight, what we
carry, where we started, how many miles a day, etc. What we refer to as the
20 questions. We hand out the card and say check our website, and if you
have any questions email us. Both the website and email address are on the
card. It seems to satify the need for both us and the other party.

You'll find lots of programs that will prepare business cards. Microsoft
Publisher is what we use. It came with free with something - probably
preloaded on a computer. You can buy the cards at most stationary stores or
most computer stores. It doesn't take much time to make a basic card. Gives
you something to do when you can't be hiking!
