I'm not familiar with the Gulf Hagas Trail location.  Where is the turnoff to it on the AT?  What is the approx. mile where the turnoff occurs?

I suppose if a person wanted to stay "pure" they could backtrack that 3/4 mile or so on the AT and cover it that way.  Do I understand correctly that that distance is all that is missed on the AT?
