[at-l] hello

Welcome to the campfire, Rhino.

Pull up a log & join in.

Hey, whoever has the smashmallows, pass him one.

Chainsaw

BTW -- Don't just sit back a listen, expecting subjects to just come up.
There is an archive at

http://mailman.backcountry.net/pipermail/at-l/

or

http://www.backcountry.net/arch/at/

If you can't find enough discussion, or an answer there, ask a question. We
are a group of friends who are rather like a campfire -- we tend to talk
about a lot of things and forget that new folk to the campfire missed part
of the earlier conversation. So, we are not likely to bring up a subject,
unless something, or someone, brings it to mind.

BTW2 -- Late January is a good time to join some of us in person. If you
live anywhere near Amicalola Falls GA, you might want to check the archives
for the GA RUCK. OTOH, if you live near Pine Grove Furnace PA, check for PA
RUCK, (Or check out their web site
http://friends.backcountry.net/ruck/index.html)

Subject: [at-l] hello

Good Morning y'all,

I am new to the list, avid hiker and excited about talking with people who
love the Trail. I have many questions, but will reserve those for after I
get familiar with the workings of this list.

Rhino
