Just an ill-informed small town reporter getting snookered by
a professional con artist. The 6000/2000 sneer is a jab at the ATC.
As long as he has a phone line, he'll continue to pose as "The Acknowledged
Authority On Appalachian Trail Thru-Hiking" as he calls himself...
