The new year is turning out not so well.  Basement drains backed up
overnight from the septic* and besides effectively losing indoor
plumbing (at least I have woods in the backyard- yup), the two
nameservers that were on the floor are a bit funky if you know what I
mean.   The good news is that they don't seem to mind it.   They were
due for replacement anyway.

After losing my job, and now a sewer back up, I wonder what could come
next week???

*-yes, it had been pumped in June- hopefully this doesn't turn into
anything that involves heavy equipment.
