HI Gang,

    Best wishes to you for this year that we have before us. May you
hike often and love every minute of it. 2002 gave me some great times. I
hiked another 651 miles on various trails, I completed 6 college
classes, worked a lot of overtime, made new friends. Only got sick twice
which includes this pewmonia that kept me home during these holidays. I
think I am ready for a hike next weekend. Who wants to go?
    Hmm If I hike every weekend and 4 or 5 weeks of vacation I think I
may finally walk 1000 miles in one year. Ok so that is one goal for
2003. Add 6 to 8 more classes and I have a busy schedule again.

    Thinking about a couple of weeks on PCT in May, Batram Trail,
Mountains to Sea trail, keep working on second AT section hike  and of
course lots of hiking in good to Virginia.
