You pricked my interest and a quick we search found that in 2000 there were
about 17,000,000 recreational boats in the country, assuming 100,000,000
households that's almost 1 in 6. Down here in Florida there are about
900,000 boats. or about 1 in 7 households. Florida's mean family income is
much lower than the northeast too.
