[at-l] Sleeping Bags

Certainly, keep your sleeping bag in a plastic trash bag unless you are in
it. Avoid large wet dogs in shelters. Go for a section hike in rainy
weather to learn how to keep it dry.

Any and everything that could be done -- has been done -- with all sorts of
gear choices. I'm glad to hear you are looking at your sleeping bag this
early, as you now will have the opportunity to test the limits of your
sleeping system in cold weather.
