Hey, my 1983 Data Book lists 2138.5 miles!  Please don't tell me that it was
only 2133.9!

At the time, that would have been of a some small interest to me.  Towards
the very end, I got it in my head that I wanted to complete the Trail having
hiked an average of 15 miles per day, rather than 14.99 or so. ;-)

(Perhaps there were a couple editions.  Not sure when I purchased the book
since I used the state guides on the Trail,  It says 1983 on the cover.)
