It looks like Bob's thruhike is still on for 2003.  His wife is feeling
better, and everything is looking up.

Now he's discovered something else to be paranoid about, however: Lyme
disease.

He's talked to his doctor about this, and the doctor wants him to take
anti-biotics during the entire hike as a preventative.

This does NOT seem like a good idea to me, for various reasons, and I
certainly wouldn't do that.

Opinions?
