Actually most fodd posioning is self inflicted.  I have worked with a food =
safety group studied the contamination of meat with all the little nasties =
out there in the world.  Approximately 5000 people a year die from contamin=
ated food (CDC study, 1999).  It is estimated that this number could be red=
uced by 50% if proper santitaion was used in handling the food( i.e washing=
 hands and washing cookware).
