True...  'Expert' is probably a bad word to use in the context of hiking in
any case.  Hiking is more like cooking, and there is no such thing as an
'expert' cook.  Either the food is good, or it isn't.  New cooks (newbies)
are worried about their pots, their pans, and their recipe.  Old cooks worry
about none of this and instead focus on the meal itself rather than the
method.  Hiking is a lot like cooking...
