[at-l] keeping your fingers warm!

I use gloves/mitten combo's. they are gloves where the fingers are short
and there is a flap that covers them like a mitten and will flip back and
velcro to the back of my had to keep out of my way while doing stuff like
setting up my tent, cooking, pumping water etc.

they are made out of windstopper fleece w/ a pseudo leather type patch on
the palm.

I was wondering what everyone does to keep their hands warm?

Do you use liner gloves with other gloves?
Do you base gloves and are these the same as liner gloves?
Capilene? Wool?

Just trying to figure out what might work best.

thanks!
