[at-l] arm pit rashes and the likes

The weather is about to get very cold, windy and possibly with snow
flurries with weekend for the Clemson / South Carolina game. We tend to
agree that this game among losers will be the pits. I do not plan to
shave for it. I fear I may get rubbed the wrong way.

Oh, on second reading, that wasn't what you meant.

The issue of chafing is pretty much the same regardless of gender,
anatomy and whether shaved or not. Pay attention to the fit of your
pack to avoid rubbing. Bring some sort of lubricant/skin lotion/ first
aid cream, such as bag balm, sun block, diaper cream or whatever. If
you do not shave, you are less likely to have small cuts that would
invite inflammation becoming infection. Axillary infections are fairly
notorious for difficulty in treatment.
