Weary -

I don't use Outlook at home, but I have used it at work before.  If I recall
correctly, there is a setting in preferences that determines if it does a
"preview" when you highlight it or not.  I'm sure there are more experienced
Outlook users out there - am I not remembering this correctly?  Just do a
thorough check of your preferences, and if I am remembering correctly you
should find it.
