[at-l] Darning Socks?



I learned to weave the thread back into the good material and then weave
going in the other direction to recreate a patch, just plain old weaving of
the hole.   No knots or it is going to hurt and as the other post indicated
be careful of the thickness of the sock elsewhere...or thinness.  use a
light bulb to form over or a similar hard object to get right shape, etc.
Buy stuff at a thread or fabric shop, the ladies love to help us helpless
ones...thimble too.
