[at-l] Not something to emote about

Thanks for serving for us.  I did not.  I wrote and celebrated returns with
friends who went and came back alive.  I attended funerals for those who did
not and pray for those who did and still suffer. We owe you soldiers much,
you offered all you had and did it for us.
