[at-l] yoga



I can't easily answer the hiking question because I'm in #$%^ Kansas. (OTOH,
I have fantasies of hiking without the morning shuffle. Is that possible?)

As for why yoga has been a wondrous thing for me...well, first of all,
because of the way it makes me feel. I leave class feeling exhilarated and
calm to the core at the same time. I feel bright, clear. It's hard to
explain because it sounds so contradictory. Maybe corny, even. Second, I
have scoliosis, and I think I was losing the posture battle. Now I'm
standing up straight again. It feels great, feels like I have some breathing
room in there. When I go to my doctor in January, I'm going to ask to be
measured.

That's about it for now, but my instructor says there will be more to come.
