Mags told me he dried meatballs for his AT hike so I tried it too. I took
larger beef ,pork and peccorino romano meatballs (an old italian grandma's
recipe) and sliced them about 1/4 inch think. I would think you could
probably just cut the little ones in two. They worked pretty good - dried
good and reconstitued still a bit chewy but really tasty. They would be
perfect in soup I bet. Oh yum, that sounds good.
