[at-l] dried meatballs?...



I just had some Italian wedding soup for lunch. (I know I should have had
chocolate ice cream, but I was, well, cold...) The soup has pasta, spinach,
and little chicken meatballs in a chicken stock. (Apologies to the veggies
out there.) I thought I might enjoy it on the trail. I don't have much of an
appetite the first few days out, and soup always goes down well. I can
manage the rest of it, but I don't know about the meatballs. Has anyone ever
tried to dry any? What were your results, and how did they reconstitute?
(Remember that these are small, maybe .5" in diameter.)
