[at-l] Radio for Backpacking

Hey,
=09I liked Chainsaws radio so much I bought one from Radio Shack. Unfortuna=
tely mine did not last very long. It quit while I was on the Long Trail. Wh=
en I replaced it I bought a Sangeon, er Sangreon hmm something like that. I=
think they are the ones that manufacture the Radio Shack model. Anyway htt=
p://ccrane.com has the weather radio and several other models. They also ha=
ve a small digital am/fm as well as small analog radios. Like Chainsaw said=
I used the analog ones for years and often I would
get into areas that the station would change with every twist in the trail.=
The digital ones do much better. One neat thing about the radio that Chai=
nsaw and I have is it has a speaker as well as earphones. Whenever I ask it=
seems like everyone wants to hear the weather report.
