Tonight on WPTZ TV from Plattsburgh, NY they had a story about a guy who
had just finished the Long Trail.  They billed it as an inspirational
story.  This was a guy who fell while climbing Katadhin and suffered from a
brain injury.  His message was 'don't dwell on what goes wrong in your
life.  Focus on the challenge of your goals'.

I can't find the story on their web site.  Maybe it will be there
tomorrow.  They did have a story on the website about a VT woman who was
shot in the head by a "stray" bullet while she was sleeping. Apparently
they don't have a leash law for bullets in VT.  If you are hiking in VT,
watch out for those "strays".
