Surely, someone on THIS list could come up with a candle lantern - alcohol stove combo for
submission to next year's competition ...

I mean, I'd carry a candle lantern if I could use it as stove, too. Instead, all I do is carry a
pair of stuck together beer can bottoms with but a single use ...
