[at-l] Staying on Topic - LONG

Again, not a blast on your comment but,
DaRedhead is right.
Although I have never met most of the list members, I feel I know many of y=
ou simply from your posts.
As a fairly NEW AT-l list member, I can say this list "IS" different, it "I=
S" a virtual campfire. Lists that only post Trail and Gear Information are =
like reading a dictionary. You find the info you are looking for, and go on=
your way. I have become fond of many people on THIS list because of the pe=
rsonality they present in their posts, ON and OFF topic.
Comments about OFF TOPIC discussions seams to be a common topic itself, but=
remember "It's not necessary to download email from the list."
If anyone is ONLY interested in specific trail info, It would be more prude=
nt to just use the Forum that mirrors this list and select the topics of in=
terest.
PS: I am looking forward to meeting many of you at the gathering.
As far as football... I'd rather be hiking,... but I'm for any team that wi=
ll kick Clemson's butt
