[at-l] trail with a view

Dear Collective Wisdom,

I have a 3 day chance to hike coming up soon and will be taking a
few Scouts with me.  They want a great view from the trail and I am
considering taking them to Sam's Gap and then hike to Erwin.  I
know the view from Big Bald is awesome!

I am also considering hiking from Fontana Dam southbound to NOC
but don't know what the views would be like.  These guys want
VISTA.

I'd appreciate any info on the trail from Fontana to NOC.
