[at-l] 1981 Hiker -- The Last American Man

Picked up the book, "The Last American Man" after hearing Eustice Conway and
the books author on NPR about a month back.

One of his tamer adventures was when he SOBO'd in 1981 at age 19.  Not a big
part of the book, but I was wondering if anyone on the list ran into him, or
heard mention of him in the registers.  He would have been one of the very
first southbounders (reached New York for the 4th of July) and wore nothing
but two bandanas on the last part of his trip.
