This is great news indeed.

The Nature Conservancy seems to be a wonderful and amazing institution.
With its billion dollar bank account, 3/4 billion dollar annual income, and
100 million dollar payrole, they can do things on a grand scale.

I am just wondering to what extent the existance of the Trail and the ATC
influences thier decisions (either one way or another) to protect lands in
the Applachian corridor that may lay close to the AT.
