I have found that the bus system in New England is really amazing. No
matter what town you are in, it is easy to catch a bus to just about
anywhere. If you check with Greyhound first, they can tell you where
their buses stop and the difference in pricing. Greyhound has a stop in
both of those cities, I believe.

For what it is worth, the stretch between Caratunk and Monson is
beautiful. If you have time, try to squeeze it in.
