Check out Integral Designs' Siltarp. Its a silicon injected nylon
material that's light to carry. I use one as part of my bivy-tarp set up, and
in IMHO it might help out in some cases. I remember being in the Smokies and
wishing I had a tarp to put on the fenced in shelters to keep out the wind.
