This is another argument, in my opinion, not to bring kids that are too
young out into the woods.  A kid should be able to understand that they
shouldn't pick up snakes, go poking around in holes, or try to pet the
armadillos before they have to face such 'perils'.  Of course, the age
varies from kid to kid.

As a side note, I am sitting here listening to 870 AM, and the news just
contained an announcement that a local man, living in a rural area, was
attacked by a wild pig IN HIS HOME.  Seems the rather large animal got in
and bit the man several times.  So, I suppose we shall have to watch out for
Pork Chop too...
